❝Story ❞
Hey, long time no blog! I've been making a story lately. So, here it is. It's similar to Twilight and Evermore(and other series). Enjoy!
Chapter 1: California I just moved to my new house in California. I was welcomed by the wonderful sound and view of nature. I loved it but I wasn't used to it. My old house in forks were always windy and the rain would make me feel refreshed. California's the opposite. I unpacked my stuff and headed of to enjoy the view. It was about 7.30pm when dad called me in to have dinner. After dinner, I went to take a nice warm shower, brushed my teeth and went to bed.
Chapter 2: First Day. Today, is my first day of California school. It was good enough. Some people who's names were Jess, Lily and Tina became my friends. Time passed by fast. They walked me home and I slumped into the sofa. When my mother came home, she told me to get changed and take a nap. I didn't know my expression but it looked tired by mom's face. I quickly changed and before I knew it, I was asleep. When I woke up, it was early in the morning. I decided to take a stroll around the park. It was Saturday and I didn't have to go to school. After a few minutes which felt like hours, I saw a boy staring at me. I walked over there with a smile and introduced myself. Apparently, he went to the same school and his name was Jake. He was an angel sent from haven above. His eyes were golden brown and he was so fit. I couldn't stop staring at him. Soon, he said he had to go and I agreed as I had to get home for lunch. When I got to school the next day, I saw Jake waving at me. Jess told me that Jake had never fallen for a girl before. And by his reaction, everyone could tell he liked me. I walked over to him and he touch my hands gently. I thought I felt a shock wave run through my nerves. I quickly removed my hands, smiled and walked away. I could feel that he was still staring at me and so, I quickened my pace. When I turned around, he was gone.
Chapter 3: Strange Sights. I couldn't stop thinking about Jake. I see him in my dreams everyday. When I'm in school, I can't stop the crave for him. It's like I've been possessed with a feeling that I can't defeat. "Hey, want to hang out after school?" Jake asked me. "Oh, sure. Where?" "It's a surprise." He replied then walked away. While in class, I kept thinking of all the possible places Jake might bring me to. "What a loser." I heard out of no where. But it seemed to be coming from this girl called Nelle. But it couldn't be because she never talked so loud. I was confused. "I don't think Jake should like her." I heard again. This time, I was sure she didn't say it cause she didn't even move her mouth. Soon, the whole room started to fill with different colors; orange, purple, blue, red. Was I going crazy? When the bell rang, the hall was flooded with students rushing towards the car park. I saw Jake standing next to his new black Lamborghini. "Ladies first," he said as he opened the door like a true gentleman for me. He leaped happily towards the driver's seat and comfortably sat in the soft chair. It was strange, in school, every student had an aura coming out of them. But I couldn't see Jake's aura. I decided to ignore it and ask, "Where we going?" "Just wait." he said, not sounding the least bit annoyed. He told me to close my eyes but I refused the first time. He asked again. I didn't want him to think I was stubborn or anything so I did as he said. Before I knew it, we were in a beautiful field. Flowers bloomed everywhere and there was a lovely mild scent of lavender filling the air. The sky was so very blue. It was like I had been transported to a whole new world! But, the strange part was that Jake and I were the only people there. How can a place so beautiful be so deserted? In my mind, there was a sudden shower of red roses. "Saw the roses?" Jake asked. "How'd you know?" "I'm a immortal, and so are you." I was sure this was a dream. But still, I asked, "A what?" "It's sort of like a vampire without all the blood sucking, sleeping in coffins, turning into ash stuff. It's just that we live forever and that we can read minds and see people's aura. Plus, we're like, strong too. And manifest stuff, and teleport thoughts." I thought I was going crazy. It was all so fast. I mean, living forever? Reading minds? It all seemed impossible. Like I was in some messed up movie or something. "What is this place?" I asked. "It's Summerland." "How do I get out of here?" "Just imagine a shimmering silver veil and step through it." I did. And soon, I was back in my room.
Chapter 4: Lessons begin. At night, when my parents were all sleeping and the house was quiet, I turned on my laptop and searched "Immortals" in google. All the results were nothing like Jake had described. Thump. I heard outside my window. I opened it up and saw Jake on the tree next to my house! "Jake! Come down from there! It's dangerous!" I whispered. Jake didn't quite take my advice. Instead of hoping back onto the ground, he hopped through my window. "So how's research going?" he asked. "How'd you.... not good." I said. "Want me to teach you some skills?" "Skills? What skills?" I asked. "Stuff immortals can do. Like, manifesting. Or maybe we should start tomorrow." "No." I said when he was about to leave. "Just the manifesting part." "Okay, close your eyes. Then, see it, feel it, smell it, hear it, taste it. Whatever it is you want to manifest." I did as he said. I thought of an apple. The red-ness of the skin, the smell of it, the smoothness, and sweet taste. And before I knew it, there was an apple in my hand! Wow, that was easy. "Is it edible?" I asked. "Yeah, sure." replied Jake. I took a bite and it was exactly as I thought it'd taste! "You can also manifest houses, cars. But only things that are not alive. If you manifest something like a dog, it'll only be there for a few seconds and then it'll slowly fade." That night, Jake went home by manifesting a 'portal'. I was awake all night manifesting stuff I wanted like a new cellphone, a new necklace that had my name on it.
Chapter 5: More lessons to be taught and learnt. Coming soon!
